Aftermarket Stereo

Hi there,

I have decided to use my aftermarket stereo instead of the Audi one. I have plumbed it in only to find out that I only have the 2 front speakers working. With the original stereo in I had 4 speakers , tweeters and a sub in the rear working. I looked at the back of the original stereo an it seams that there is only 2 speaker wires. How can I use my aftermarket stereo and have all the speakers working ? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks,

u need a loom for rear amped any local audio shop will have 1 even *********

as i dont know what oem radio u have i think its this one the lead changes the rear wires in to RCA and goes to ur new headunit rca outputs u also need 1 of these for ur radio reception

Sorry the OEM stereo is the Audi Concert.

the above will sort it out u have half amped system

Thanks for that, would the factory fitted sub work with this ? Or will it give me just the rear speakers aswell?

Also, I see a lot of reference to bose and non bose systems. How can I tell which one I have ?

it will work ur sub aswell as all rear is from the amp
and unless ur oem said bose on start up or says bose on ur speaker covers then u have the normal rear amped system
