    Hi All,

I'd appreciate any advice on the following:

I have a A6 Avant 2.0TDI S-Line (56 plate) with all the toys (sat nav, DAB, leather, Bluetooth, privacy glass, 80l tank etc.)

I have it on a contract lease (company car allowance). It's been with me since new and has been serviced by Audi whenever it needed including the cam belt change at 75k ish (I'm not sure the water pump was changed at that time)

The car has now done 90k, most of this being up and down the M4, M25; I'd say 75% - 85% motorway.

The lease company has offered to sell it to me now for a tad over £10k.

I love the car and I'm very tempted. It's never missed a beat.

If I keep the car and add another 90k to it over the next three years what's the most likely component failure and what should I budget to spend over and above the usual (service, tyres etc) to cover this.

I'm thinking about turbo units, clutch, suspension.

Am I mad for considering? Should I just give it back and buy a Prius

    Thanks for reading.

    Mike

Sorry if I appear pushy but have I asked the wrong question? Is it unreasonable? Am I better off with a crystal ball?

I have an `04 Avant with the silky smooth but risky multitronic auto box. I face a bill of £5K if it bites the dust so I`ve taken out a warranty with Warranty Direct. I`ve not made a claim yet and I suppose claim time is when you find out how good it is but a mate who`s a retired insurance manager has given it a good look at and says it seems on the up & up.
What I`m saying is for £2-300 pa you could have some peace of mind.
