    Default Factory fitted alarm – 03-09-2009,04:48 PM
    Dear All,
    when my car alarm should go off all I get is a click and the hazard lights kick in,but no audible alarm. I asked my idependant vw garage and they said they don't touch factory fitted alarms, only main dealers can do it, I also asked a good radio/alarm shop and they said the same. Is this because its a hard job, and no doubt a main dealer would cost a fortune.

    You may need a new siren, it's on the bulkhead under the bonnet.
