Apparently if the 'seal' in the Turbo Pipe or Air Pipes around the Turbo/Intercooler goes through high pressure, you get the bad vibration between 800-1500rpm.

I get this problem and its a weird one. If you blip the throttle before pulling away, hence spinning up the turbo, you don't get the vibration. Definately sounds like it maybe the cause of my issue.

Anyone got any experience of this? Supposedly its a 'pennies' seal and can be changed in 5 minutes,

    Cheers

not quite sure what you are trying to say here, but "blipping the throttle before pulling away" won't get the turbo to spool up.
you need load on the car to get the turbo working.
i have had an "aftermarket" front flexi / cat fitted about ten mths now,and that has vibrated since the day it went on. i didn't take it back because you only get what you pay for.

The across engine front boost pipe from the intercooler to the inlet manifold can break away from its mounts and fail at the bottom where it meets the rubber elbow.
