Hi just bought another V5 and theres alot of deep scratches on the roof, apparently one of the previous owners was a doctor and i think he must have put his bag on the roof alot!

I think i can get most of the scratches out but the deep ones i can feel with my nail and i think might be threw the clear coat. Im mainly worried about protecting the body from rust etc, is there anything anyone can please suggest to help me sort these problems out

    thanks

have a look for a local SMART repairer.I use Chips away for scratches and Dent Devil for small dings.
But the standard of work is dependent on the Franchisee...

    Hi

Sorry to hear about the scratches.

Something like this: Meguiars Scratch X will help remove/reduce the scratches in your paintwork. You will really need to work it in and then finally buff off.

For lighter scratches and freshening up the paint, this is a wonderful product: http://elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin/hca...mrid=1&cmpid=2 Aging you would need to work it in.
