    Afternoon all,

    Newbie here.

I have finally managed to get my wife to give up the Freelander 1.8 Petrol (I know, I know) And she is into the A6 estate which I have been keen on for years. The main point I have talked her into the change is the MPG on the freelander. And I was looking at a 1.9TDI A6, giving pretty good MPG, But I have just seen and got a good price on 2002 A6 2.5 Quattro. And wife has also now fallen in liove with it. Just wanted to ask what MPG i should expect from it? And also what to look out for when buying. I’ve owened a lot of cars but never and Audi.

    Thanks in advance,

    Apip

    Hi Kite,

Cheers for the reply. I was looking at it being around the 34 mark from Parkers. But obviously with the estate it'll be a little more.

Any things I should be looking/listening out for?

    Thanks,

    Phil

I would just do what you would normally do when buying a used car.
    Check everything works.
Aircon/heated seats/ both keys, central locking.......the list goes on.
