Hi all,

I am looking at this on Friday to replace my Clio 182. The guy is a trader and has been using it as a runabout. It has been serviced regularly throughout it's life and has had a cambelt change in March. It also has had a new clutch last week.

However I asked whether the tensioner was done when the cambelt was changed and he said no. I'm no mechanic but would this have made the cambelt change a waste of time? Also I would have thought the cambelt would have come in a kit with the tensioner. I'm new to Dubs so any help appreciated.

Should I stay clear? I'm gutted as it is just what I've been after and is very local.
