as has been questioned, you cant get from 340 to 390 bhp on a naturally aspirated engine with just a map lmfao!!
You can with a remap and a full exhaust.

    Alright, alright, calm down!

Graingey.. Shark was replying to what s4-matt wrote.. not to your comment (and he's a genius by the way! What that man can do on VagCom is akin to witchcraft!)

A 50BHP hike in power just from a remap and exhaust does seem a little high.. but if the exhaust was a full de-cat (i.e. illegal) or it featured two very expensive 100 CPSI sports CATs, then I guess it may not be beyond the realms of possibility?

I'll scan my s4's 390bhp printout tomorrow after it's AMD remap and (legal) exhaust when I get time.

Well I think s4-matt would make us all look like idiots at the lights!

Not in my old days of tasty tuned machinery.. but now, he certainly would!

Mind you, I only stop to buy fuel every 550 miles, so I think it'd be a case of tortoise and the hare in an endurance / how deep are your pockets race ;P

Here you go. Alas no before with the AMD paperwork when I brought the car. It was standard though, so 350bhp max maybe? Still nearly 50bhp increase or 12%, they paid £3K for it.

140bhp transmission loss? They must have left the handbrake on when testing it

Honestly, with a map and an exhaust those figures aren't possible. Does the car have other engine work?
