A6 2.5 Tdi (180) Quattro Sport Avant. (VN02 AWZ). Still drives lovely with 145k on the clock!

Can any one answer a few Q's for me please.

    1) I have an indicator problem where by they have stopped working! I have picked up on this forum that it is most likely to be the hazard warning light swith behind the dash. I have seen what I think I need on ebay and the part No is 4B0 941 509 D B98. However I contacted my local Audi dealer in Southampton and they said i needed 4B0 941 509 K B98. What is the difference between the D & K in the part numbers? Can I use the D even though I'm told the correct one for my car is the K?

    2) I had it up on a ramp and checked the diff levels which appear to be a little low. Due the price of the oil needed, would it be ok just to top the levels up or do you think I should replace all the oil with new? I bought 1 litre from Audi at £16! Part No is G 052 145 S2 Is this correct?

    3) Gear box oil. Bearing in mind the mileage now, should i replace the gearbox oil with new oil? Again due to it taking 9 litres, should I just replace the oil for new and do i need to go the whole hog and do the filters inside etc etc which has been talked about on this forum, or just replace the oil only?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a skin flint and I'm more than happy to pay for the best lubricants etc and want the car to go on and on, but times are a little hard for us all at the moment and don't want to be paying out unnessasarily if you catch my drift..........!

Any help and advice would be greatfully received, thank alot in advance,
    Lee.

If t diff oil appears low, top it up or drain and refill.
