Hi,

I have factory fitted iPod interface (in glove-box) with MFD2 in my Passat B6 (2007). For details please check the pictures below. I bought this car 6 months ago but unfortunately still struggling to get ipod working. In past I have tried iPhone 4 and 5s, but I was told that it only work with 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation iPods. Recently I have bought a 2nd Generation 4 Gig iPod but still no luck.

When iPod is plugged-in it does not displays VW logo or screen light. Seems like system is not recognising iPod. I have tried to press CD button twice but its not switching to CD changer mode. Played with A/V and AUX setting in headunit as well.

Can anyone please suggest me how to get it working?
