    Can anyone advise- front wheels squeel going slow when cornering. worse when reversing, sounds like a rubber noise. had timing belt changes but still the same.

    Some possibilities would be low tyre pressure, front wheels out of alignment, the type of surface your car is on e.g. painted cement can create this noise with none of the above faults present. Another possibility is loose fan etc. belt as distinct from cam belt. The belt could be slipping on the power steering pump pulley as the pump is loaded up during a tight turn. Hope this helps.
