    Exclamation Reconditioned Audi Engine – 21-08-2009,08:56 AM
    I'm in desperate need of a reconditioned engine for my Audi A3 1.9 TDI auto.

    I have been quoted around £1400 for one including removal and fitting, surely i must be able to get one for less, if not less than £1000?!

    Can anyone help or know of a reputable dealer?

    There's a 2007 Golf 1.9TDi lump on ebay at the moment for just over a grand.

    What year/engine are you looking to replace?

    I think (think only, not 100% sure without you looking) that you're looking to replace a VE 110 ASV engine.

    There's one on ebay at the moment for ~£650 without a turbo - link

    A recon engine is more.

    Can you get the engine code?
