    Hi All,

Just ran VAG-COM on my A4 B6. I got the following fault code: 01366 - Ross-Tech says the following:

01366 - Opened Due to Crash Signal

    Possible Causes

    • Output Test performed on Airbag Control Module (J234)
    • Vehicle involved in Accident
      • Airbag Control Module (J234) stored Crash Data

    • Wiring/Connectors from/to Airbag Control Module (J234) faulty

    Possible Solutions

    • Check/Clear Fault Codes
    • Check Wiring/Connectors from/to Airbag Control Module (J234)

    Retrieved from "http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/01366"

I installed DIS and cruise control a few months ago so I would have had the airbag out and the airbag harness disconnected. I'll check the connections and run VAG-COM again but I was wondering if anyone out there had gotten this fault before after installing DIS and/or cruise or for any other reason?

    Any info appreciated!!

See that after output tests, clear it and don’t worry about it.

Thanks Crasher, it appropriate that you replied, crashing is exactly what I worried about, and if the airbag will deploy or not! I take it you have previous experience of this code??

I have seen it a few times and generated it as well doing output test, the first time I generated it was a little unnerving but it cleared and no brown trousers!

    By the way, excellent Avatar.

Thanks Crasher, I'll check the airbig harness connections anyway, clear the fault and leave it at that. Cheers!
