    Hi guys,

I have a 2004 Passat SE, I think it sits far too high and I want to put some 18"s on her but need to change the suspension.

How easy is it to source Passat Sport suspension and what parts do I need? Is it just the springs, or shocks aswell that i need??

    Any advice would be great

    Hey Buddy
I am not sure whether you want aftermarket suspension or the suspension from the 'sport' model which is supposed to be slightly lower and stiffer. I have a passat 'sport' and trust me it still sits far too high, even after I put my 18s on it. I am looking at lowering mine more and there are a few options out there. You cant just change the springs you have to change the shocks too so I think I am going with coilovers, adjustable from -20mm to -80mm. There are a few kits out there and dont think paying the top prices get you the best kits. The kit I am looking at is what my mate at work has on his golf and after 2 years its still perfect see here:

Would definately be better than standard sport suspension, here is a picture of my sport on 18 inch RS8 alloys. Hope this helps! Liam
