Hi guys.... I have a 1998 Audi Cabriolet 1.8 model on a s plate, would this be the same set up??! Is the sender unit still in the boot behind the seats in the top of the tank?
My fuel gauge keeps going off!?!!

    Many Thanks,

Hi All, I have had the exact same issue on my 2.0e Cab (1997) and I bought a NOS Gauge off of Ebay for £2 and now its perfect and accurate.

    Hi
Forget the tank unit. Remove dash gauges find voltage stabilizer. tiny little black chip with three legs right in the corner on back of clocks. normaly bad connection. remove the screw and slide out sideways. I soldered mine.
