Hi All,
I am new and this is my first posting so here goes;
W reg (2000) Polo Classic 1.6sr saloon - starts a little hesitantly (low revs) then runs fine and but at various times in warm-up or sometimes when fully up to temperature starts "hunting" when accelerator is pressed. It is just like in the old days when cars had manual choke and you forgot to push the choke in - "hunting" - with the revs rapidly blipping up and down. When driving at normal speed the engine is o.k. when accelerating but as soon as the accelerator is lifted the engine dies causing the car to jerk.
I have tried changing the throttle body, temp sensor, coil, maf sensor, charcoal cannister valve all to no avail.
Anybody got any ideas.
Steve
