    Hmmm, I'm holding off forming too much of an opinion until they get some answers. Just read the whole thing and I think theres a lot of unanswered questions there. I can see it going either way to be honest. If I had to guess now, I'd go with it ending up being something along the lines of the costs not being entirely ridiculous, but pretty hefty, and the driver being really quite unlucky that what was a relatively minor impact had what you might call a ripple effect, spreading to other components and being exceptionally unlucky that it set the bonnet off.

    I had a GTR pass me the other day. Made light work of the wife's Tigra I was driving at the time!

    Only becuase the Tigra was struggling to get to 50, and consequently didn't have as much braking to do....

    (Although that does bring me to a question that popped into my head whilst waiting to overtake a Tigra the other day. Most convertibles are based on another car, e.g. 207CC, Focus CC, Eos etc etc. Was the Tigra based on anything? Corsa?)
