hi all fault with central locking woundered if any one has come across it before. 1: locking system has started to go mad all doors keep locking and opening repeatedly . to stop this i have disconnected the drivers door connection from the comfort controle ecu . does this suggest the fault is with the contole unit within the drivers door which is part of the window motor all the actual ecu . any advise would be greatfull

Is your passenger footwell wet ?
The comfort module is known to play up when wet.
Water gets in the footwell from the bulkhead if the drains are blocked.

Tough one as the two can display identical symptoms.

I've not had cause to try this as yet - but it might be worth seeing if the driver and passenger controllers can be swapped over - I suspect they can be for the purpose of testing, though of course not for regular usage as they are handed.

Would help to see if symptoms move with controller or remain constant with the comfort module.
