    Hi,

    Does someone know where fuse strip for glow plug is located? I cant find it. It is 1.9 TD/55 KW passat from '96. It has glow plug relay number 104.

    80 amp fuse. Plastic box, left side of engine compartment I think.

    I think the one you are looking for is located in a small plastic holder on the bulkhead at the rear of the engine compartment, if the cover is missing it usually gets corroded and then fails. If I remember rightly it is to the left of the coolant reservoir. Mine was always going so I kept a few spares in the ashtray. Hope this helps.

    Left of plastic header tank. 50 amp fuse from VW. Fits under 2 lage screws. Should have cover but lid can break off. Fuse looks like thick grey lead foil. U-shaped. Keep a spare.

    On the AAZ engin it is a red platsic large type 50 amp plug in fuse on top of the fuse box.
