Retrofit: Heat insulated tinted glass from B pillar back

Hi,

I wonder, are you able to take a bought golf to a VW dealer and get heat insulated tinted glass from B pillar back at the same price as factory cost?

Also wondered if anyone had any photos showing this?

It's highly unlikely - I think your best bet is to go to a Window Tinting company I'm afraid.

If you went to the dealer, they'd probably say the same thing and "sort it out for you" at a cost that's greater than a tinting company.

Note that you often get what you pay for - the better ones will take the windows out to do it (I think) - don't be tempted to try it yourself though as results may be mixed.
