hi folks, bit new to all this, but we have a spring like boing/creak on turning left or right on our 2004 touran, after having had my head inserted in the wheelarch (forcefully by frustrated missus),the strut appears to be rotating jerkily, noise seems centered in wheelarch,so.....top strut mount? If so any kind soul suggest a good supply of spurious top mounts for reasonable price and of reasonable quality?many thanks

    you have to remove strut
seperate at the hub fixing to strut a bit tight but then you dont have any adjustments to do
as you say decent pair of spring compressors
