    i have bought a 2007 56 Plate Audi A6 2.0 TDI , how do i tell if it is common rail or PD.

    To be sure tell us the engine code. It is on the ID label in the service book and in the spare wheel bay. It may also tell you the KW output which will resolve this for you. It should be a PD. Regards Peter
