what MPG should I be getting out of my s4..V8 4.2

Depends what kind of driving but 15-17 around town and 22-25ish on a steady run.

It does seem to depend on the car (and obevously the way you use it)!

Had a run up the A17 and A1 to Doncaster the otherday and averaged 27mpg. Overall with a few stop starts jouney's thrown in the average comes down to around 20mpg.

I noticed how high your BHP is on your s4...what have you done to tak it that high

Its an AmD stage 3 http://www.amdtechnik.com/products.variant.cfm?variantid=29

It states 40+ bhp, but the rolling road was showing 359bhp as standard. Maybe lucky with the engine, maybe an optimistic rolling road! I've seen other stage 3's with 380-390bhp.

Essentially its just a remap and Millitek exhaust. The exhaust is the best bit the sound is stunning. Search Milltek B6 S4 in utube to hear one.
