    Picked up a 53 plate Sport TDI today for the wife. Great piece of kit! and f***ing quick, almost as quick as my old Impreza Turbos. Come on a long way since my Mum had 2 Ibiza GLX's in 87 & 90. The VAG TDi seems to be a hell of a lot better than the 1.5 petrol 'System Porsche' engine of the '80s.

    Tempted. It already seems quicker than our Toledo Sport 150 though. I guess same drive train with the 130 engine but the smaller rolling radius tyres lower the gearing. I think this is a gem of a car that many overlook. Overtaking is almost by ESP - back to the old days of my Imprezas!
