I used VAG com to do an output test on my A4 TdI on the N75 valve. My question is the vnt actuator moved up and down 2-3 times and then stopped in the up position. It did it on two seperate tests. Is this normal or should the actuator continue to operate up and down until the test is stopped.

If it is not normal then what could be the problem. Is it turbo vanes jamming or a fault with the N75 valve. The actuator rod always returns to its closed position when the engine is shut down.
