    Back in the VW scene after buying a mk4 golf 1.8t... used to have a mk3 cabby. Used to go to NR on a regular basis... Found this site accidently when I was trying to find out what was wrong with my golf.

    Im 24, soon to be 25.... an insurance quote at 24 on the 1.8T is £1130, but when I'm 25 in a couple of weeks it drops to £500!!!! can you believe that? I think I must have done something wrong?!?!

    I work in printing and live in Havant (if you wanna know that )

    Hi ya...

    Yeh I do, but then I don't wanna spend money I haven't got!!!! I want just a few simple things, but it will be low and similar to my mk3 kinda style. I don't like this lexus light and 5 spoke 1,000,000" chrome alloy business.... so will be steering away from that.

    Suppose it depends on what bargains I can find on eBay!!! lol

    I never knew this site existed... where is everyone from?

    i love the mk3, tastefully modified

    as for the insurance, i can understand this totally, 25 seems to be an age threshold, very much like the 21 years barrier for clubs, a lot of insurance companies now offer big reductions to drivers over 25 years of

    i found this out the other day when my insurance decided to tell me that my £1500 fully comp policy, covers me to drive my car only, im allowed to drive a single other car on the road
