A3 3.2 v6 questions

Ok i'm currently running a vauxhall astra van 1.9 cdti remapped to 200bhp

But it just breaks alot turbo last week air con this week its a joke so its off

i'm after a A3 3.2 v6 but i have a few questions

1. would the 09 led day light running lights fit to a earlier model?

2. i'm looking into adding a turbo to this engine maybe next year and taking it to 400bhp what else do i need to do other than add a turbo and intercooler?

3. at 400bhp is the 3.2 v6 lump reliable? are there any issues with the clutch and gearbox?

4. Did the titanium package ever make it onto the a3? i saw a mock up of what it would look like a while back and it looked rather nice

the 09 lights wont fit unless you change the whole front end too.

havent heard of anybody fitting a turbo to the engine, usually its a supercharger like people fit to the R32 too.

I have seen tuners who supply turbo kits for 400 and 450bhp for the R32, not sure if they would fit the A3.

Try searching online or looking at some of the tuning companies who support this site.

Note you will need big money for this type of kit, around £9000 for 400, and £11k for 450bhp seems to ring a bell.

Hi, currently on my second audi v6 and had this for a couple of years or so. had no problems except a wheel bearing and a windsdreen wiper motor (which was afactory recall but broke before). Would be interested in any power upgrades you find. Regards Slim....

hi guys i've got a 3.2 a3 (2004), had it for nearly 3 years, dsg gearbox love it. Had a few problems with it but love the drive. Anyway my car was upgraded by AMD stage 3 (282bhp) inquired about adding a supercharged. They quoted me about £6500 then a £1000 to strengthen gear box, would rougly give me 450bhp as quoted.
