    Hi

I'm trying to find the the Amplfier for the rear speakers, my car has LPG fitted so it could be behind the Gas Tank. Anyone got a clue to its location.

    Cheers Paul

    I think mine is missing

The rear passenger-side speaker has a metal bracket thing underneath it, but there are some cut wires and nothing inside the bracket

Oh, and the CD Changer is missing too

What radio do you have, Concert or Delta?

The amp is only a tiny 20w board.

    It's a 1998 2.4 SE... I'm pretty sure the stereo is a Concert.

    Multi-changers for your concert are:

Plug & play Audi OEM 6-disc CD changer '4B0 035 111' by Matsushita.

Aftermarket Panasonic DP601, DP610, DP801 or DP810 will need an adapter and installation kit.

    Phatnoise.

There are probably many more that will fit with an adapter.

    Cheers for the info!

I'm probably going to put an iPod adapter in there instead (as most of my music is on my iPod).

At the moment, I'm just using a tape adapter thingy until I get something sorted... It actually doesn't sound bad!

I need to get my amp and sub wired up at some point. I'm hoping that the Yellow Mini-ISO plug that I used to use on my VW Gamma head unit will work for line-out on the Concert?

Any tips on running the power cable from the battery to the boot in a B5?

Also, where's the fuse box please?

This Concert rear amp replacement guide might help.

The fuse box is located on the drivers side end of the dashboard. (covered by door when closed)

    Good work Guys,

Who would think that an ally looking guard would be an Amplifier.

I need to remove to remove it as the head unit pokes out 50W per channel and this little Amp is upsetting the new Status Quo
