    hi guys today i have repaired my wiper linkage on my 2003 audi a4 1.9tdi quattro

    i then got in the car to go for a quick spin and the engine turns over but dosnt start and i get the (!) sign and brake underneath it



    confused big time
    help appreciated

    Did you remove the E box which houses the engine ecu to access the linkage.If you did then make sure the multi plug connections for the engine bay loom are secure
    vag diagnostics, retrofits and general repairs

    i did move it yes as it was a rite sod to get out haha.. the wires all seem in place which specific wire are you on about?

    i didnt disconnect any wire thos

    Near the ecu there are 4 or 5 multi plugs check these are secure as you may well have disturbed them.
    vag diagnostics, retrofits and general repairs
