been on holiday for two weeks and the discs were pretty rusty when I came back. I've used the car for the last 3 days, fronts have cleaned up but the back ones haven't. Annoyingly the ABS keeps on kicking when I press the brakes, making a thudding sound (no vibration on pedal). Is this normal?

You need to measure them with diagnostic equipment,One other thing,is the fact the rear discs, haven't cleaned up,suggests the pads are seized in the calipers
