    Hi All,

My Audi has rear parking sensors but when i put the car in reverse it just beeps a few seconds then nothing, so i assume they are not working correctly, nothing shows on the dashboard.

Do i need to replace them all or just clean them up.
If i can clean them, what do i clean them with and how do they come off.
I read earlier posts that say these come off without needing to remove the bumper, has any had any experience of doing this?

    Thanks
    Jason

Not sure how factory fit sensors are held in but I fitted some aftermarket sensors and it wouldn't be possible to remove them without removing the bumper.

So if you are close to something does it not beep as most parking sensors beep when initially ingaging reverse to say they are active.

    Hi Dave,

they beep when i put the car in reverse, but then thats it no more beeping as i get closer to the wall! i have tested it almost until i touch the wall

I am not sure if some display should also show on the dash? i have only had the car a week and was told by the prev owner that they didnt work..i just wondered how easy they were to fix..

    Thanks
