    Hi All,

I have an A4 2001 2.0 Multitronic. The ESP light has started coming on after about two miles driving. The first couple of days it happened the engine would seem to restrict power for a second or two then would kick back in. This appears to have stopped now. I cannot switch light of once activated until engine turned off. Then light will clear until driven for the same amount of time. I have read previous forums stating things like rear brakes pad being replaced and faulty break lights. I had my rear discs and pads done about a month ago and no issues have happened since then. I will check rear brake lights. I did swap a blown bulb a few weeks ago but I cannot imagine a bulb could trip the ESP or can it? Any ideas?

    Cheers
