    hi has anyone had to replace a broken bonnet pull cable obveously with the bonnet shut, is there any easy way of opening the bonnet, it looks like a bit of a night mare any help would be great

    The cable has probably slipped off under the bonnet where it joins the catch. There have been a few reports of this over at brick-yard.co.uk Most folks have fitted a cable tie over the outer cable to stop it happening again. You have to pop the bonnet from underneath. It's tricky! Prepare yourself for some serious swearing...

    thanks for your help, i havent attempted it yet but did have a quick look looks nasty, that sounds a very usefull tip about the cable tie, will let you no how i get on
