Yesterday I took delivery of a 2010 model year A4 ExecSE TDi with the Symphony III radio and the AMI option. (This is the new model with Stop / Start etc).
I want to be able to listen to podcasts and music on SD cards and particularly need to be able to use playlists (mostly so that I get podcasts in the order I want them to be in).
I had a demo car a couple of months back, and playlists worked fine - I think I used PlaylistCreator3 and just put the m3u file on the root of the SD card with the tracks in folders, and it all worked well. That card has subsequently been overwritten.
Now when the display shows me the SD Card contents, I can see the folders I have created, but the Playlists view is empty.
I have tried to create Playlists in WinAmp (which is what I currently use for podcasts on my Creative Zen), Windows Media Player and iTunes (where I download content). I have tried putting the m3u file in the appropriate folder as well as the root. The tracks play correctly from the folders, but the podcasts are not the order I want.
I don't BTW own an iPod, but will probably get one in September when they are often updated.

Any suggestions please? I am good with gadgets, but this is proving to be very frustrating...
