hi, i've just bought a 06 passat estate which as got a few scratches on top of the rear bumper.
does anyone know of a supplier who sells a stick on rubber type mat which would protect the bumper.
    thanks hezzys

VW sell a "bumper protection film" which is thickish transparent plastic, and you can get stainless steel protector strips on eBay, but I've never seen a rubber protector strip.

I've got a stainless steel one on my saloon, along with sill protectors, bought from ebay.

It was about 10mm too deep for mine (fitted all right after I cut a strip off it), so I'm wondering if it was intended for the estate.

VW sell a plastic protector for the estate, its a molded black plastic. It covers the flat top part of the bumper over the curve and slightly onto the flat back if that makes sense.

Cost about £30, took some finding but your local VW dealer should be able to find it on their system.

If you get really stuck I maybe able to find the part number on my receipt (if I can find it)
