    Hi guys,

The wipers on my 2002 A4 SPORT TDI are operating very slow and even just get jammed while not having completed the stroke? Sometimes they complete the strokes but are definitely not the same speed they used to be at.

Has anyone had a similar problem and could someone shed some light on what the problem could be?

    All the help appreciated.

    Thanks

    Thanks

My wipers started squeeking a few months back. Annoying so put some WD40 on the bolt holding the drivers side wiper and that fixed the problem. months later, now august and wipers were REALLY slow and sometimes stopping.
Did research on this forum and found it to be wiper linkage.

Took to Audi after concideration of my options of taking apart myself, and getting them to do it, especially since its forcast for heavy rain here in the next few days.

Cost me £179.98 for Labour and Parts. Probably overpriced, but its done now, and i dont have to worry that my wipers will stop in heavy rain on the motorway.

originally thought problem was because i used Rain X on windscreen, but turned out just early problems relating to linkage.

parts alone were around £50 + VAT.

    im happy though.

    Regards

    Thom
