Hey there guys, i currently own a VW 2005 TDI CADDY VAN and have some starting issues with it. When engine is cold it fires into life pretty much ok with only a slight hesitation sometimes, but when its just been used (engine warm) it finds it really hard to kick into life although at the moment it will eventually start. Battery and starter motor ok it turns over at ease and when engine runs at any tempreture there seems to be no problems what so ever! Idles smoothley and revs are responsive.

    Any ideas folks?

Can you see any bubbles in the fuel lines? This would point to air being stuck in there.

I've got this problem with my Skoda, it has got air in the fuel lines, and when warm it can take as long as about 8 seconds to start. I'm just trying to work out where the air is coming from, although I've not looked into it too much just yet. Starts perfect from cold.

No, I've not found the time to look at mine yet.

I should have thought, you might not have clear/transparent fuel lines, making air in the fuel more difficult to spot.
