    Hi Guys

I hope someone can help me. I have a 2005 A4 1.8T, I have just about got it to the house as the engine started to lose power and chug. As well as this the fuel gauge has stuck at full (it's about 3/4 full), the emissions light has come on and there is a smell of sulphur. The engine is shaking at low revs or when idling but disappears when revved higher.

Could anyone shed any light on the problem- has anyone expereienced this before??

    Thanks

    Stu

    Hi

Did this resolve your problem? I've an engine that's displaying similar symptoms. It's with the mechanic now and he thinks I may need a new engine!!!

    Hi

Everything's fine with this car for now. It was indeed the coil packs!
