Side lights t5

Sorry if its been asked before,but how do I change the side light on the drivers side?When I remove the cover,I can see the side light in a yellow plastic holder below the main headlight but this just seems to rotate ie doesnt seem to have a thread to allow removal.Any ideas?(mot next week)

Does it require a huge amount of force?Because it is not moving

There are two types of side lights,fitted,and since,you say the fitting just rotates,then you have the type that just pulls out.They can be sometimes hard to get out,as they become brittle due to the heat.just pull hard on the wire you have no other option

Thanks!The first half hour of finger tip shredding fun must have loosened it,then your second reply gave me the confidence to go incredible hulk for the final pull.
