the unit is installed now and finds 7-9 satallites but if i enter a destination it will find it and plan the route but shows me being in a different start point to where i am, once on the move the it will not guide or direct. i have tried looking for a manual but no joy can anyone help / has anyone seen this before??

shinman, i have already merged 2 duplicate posts about the same question... it may take some time for you to get the answer you need, as a lot of people will research on the subject before passing their comments, in order to give you the most useful possible answer.

if you keep repeating the same question, under different threads, you will find people struggling to keep up with 1. the problem and 2.which thread they are actually supposed to respond to.

please use THIS THREAD to post any further questions or details on the fault and im sure someone will be along to help you soon

in the meantime, if you advise me of what year your passat is, either myself or another moderator can move the thread to the relevant passat section where it will receive more attention.
