    I have a mk 5 golf 2004 and qould like to fit a sub without changing the standard head unit. does anyone know how to do this?

    you have to get a conversion wire which u connect to the rear speaker wires and they convert into phono wire plugins, only problem is finding which wires they are... also there isnt a ignition live on the back of the head unit just two constant lives so u av to get ur ignition live from the fuse box... im currently in the process of doing mine so im learning as im going and this is wot im finding out i hope its helped!
