i have removed the seal under bonnet and the plastic battery cover to try and locate the brae servo (passat b5 tdi 2003)
what i need to know is what exactly does the brake servo look like as i am trying to locate the drain underneath it
i know it is somewhere near the driver side bulkhead but not sure what it is exactly.
been quoted £140 to clear all blockages at independants and fancy doing it myself to be honest
im no mechanic obviously, but feel i can do this job
    cheers

    thank you

Have a look at THIS LINK as it seems you're cleaning out the drain holes.
It's a good guide with pics. Mac

by removing the battery, can i get to the drain hole underneath the brake servo?
i thought i had to do this seperately to the battery drain.

another quick question...if i disconnect the battery, do i then have to use vag com after reconnecting???

    cheers

    thanks for earlier answer
