thinking about buying an a3

Hello forum people,

Im new to the forum so be gentle!

Up until the last couple of days I have been interested in a honda civic however was put off by the staff at my local dealer and the fact that there were no decent deals to be had.

So...

I was driving by my local Audi garage and took a fancy to the Audi A3. It is about the right size that im looking for and looks nice. I popped onto the Audi website and say the A3 1.6 technik upgrade.

The finance offer seems reasonable - dealer deposit of £1000 which is more than honda were offering.

I dont know much about Audi, is this a decent buy?

is it worth the £500 for metalic paint. im looking for black anyway and i see that it comes in solid paint

Is it worth the extra cash to go for the 1.4tfsi?

I would post this in the A3 Section to get a better idea. I know there are owners of 1.4TFSI A3's on there
