Hi, Im new to this, so apologise for any stupid questions,

I have a 53 plate Passat SE 1.9TDI 130BHP, and was looking to fit cruise control. Looking on ebay i can pick up a kit for app £80.

The kit looks to include a new indicator stalk and a small wiring loom. Does this sound right, it just seems not enough components to fit cc!

    Is this a good price?

How do i know if i have FLY BY WIRE?

    Cheers Chad.

In theory the cruise control kit fits from 2001 so you should be ok. You will need vag-com or similar to code it in once you have fitted it. The loom comes with the correct connectors. Search this forum and you will find instuctions on how to do it. The kit isn't very expensive to buy from a dealer.
