Hello - Could someone please advise as to the best DRL bulbs to replace my current standard 'yellow tinge' bulbs to crisp white. I do not want to go down the LED route due to known issues around blown bulb notification etc.

    Cheers...

Philips Blue vision side lights (501) give a nice crisp white light.

Depends on what voltage is going to them though.

I'm taking it you have Xenons if you have DRLs on a B7?

In which case 501 won't fit as these are the sidelight fitting for the standard halogens.7506LL

The DRL size is 7506LL if you are on about these bulbs:

A crappy yellow colour I know on this car but you must be able to get other colours.

Yep, Ive got Xenons which look nice and white and then the DRL's which just seem to let it down! I've seen some 'DRL PIAA H367 Bulbs' which look like thay should fit but are advertised as being for A3's?

    A3 (2005 - 2009) with Xenons have the same DRL bulb as A4 B7.

They are just 12v/21w '382' type bulbs that have been used for years, abeit Audi use a long life version from the factory.
