Havent' given my car a name... but I talk to her. I know it's sad, although... didn't Senna and Schumi do the same with their cars....

Other than that, when I refer to my car amongst friends, I usually use the term "my lady".

Two cars stop and start. They swap names freely depending on who stops and who starts

Joking aside I think naming cars is for girls.

I've never named a car. I can't see the point, well, it would be an emotional attachment to an inanimate object, and whilst I like my car, it's just a car.

I've sometimes called my car names, but none repeatable in a public forum!

My Mum named her cars after the letters in the registration plate - PDL 57 M was Piddle, F---TRV was Trev.

The funny thing about car names is my kids insist on calling the 1997 Golf "The new car" and the 2000 A6 "The old car" simply because we only bought the golf last week!

Mine doesnt have an official name but does quite often get reffered to as my 'first wife' as i take more care of it than the mrs and children

If i were to name it, it would have to be called "Black Beauty".

Ex missus called my Golf the Hitler Mobile, I called her peugeot a French piece of ****, as per normal her 206 head gaskets blew and she got a Polo as a replacment, to say the Hitler Mobile name got dropped pretty quickly after that was an understatement. on the other hand she got dropped soon after too :P

I just call it the beast.
