Recommend a garage in the South/South West area

I'm looking for a good dealer or indy to do a cambelt and waterpump job, as well as diagnose a gearbox problem. My local VW dealer is shocking and I need someone who I can trust.

In or around Bath or Wiltshire would be ideal. Don't mind traveling a little further to Hampshire or South Oxfordshire....

Hi, i have a lot of trust in autotechnics in gillingham, they did a cambelt and tensioner change on my 1.8T quattro for £250. The waterpump was not done due to it being replaced with a metal impellored one a little while ago. Have heard of a few good indys in keynsham and bristol, have a look on this site for names.

Well, you said Hampshire

I used them with my old a6 a few times - they know their stuff and good rates. Work on my new a6 is covered on the approved warranty scheme so currently using the dealer

I'm in Marlborough, Wilts, but spend one day a week in Bath so some of these could be ideal.

I don't mind travelling a little further for a reliable service.

It's amazing how many VW/Audi independents are called Autotechnics (or sometimes with a slightly varied spelling). I know of at least 4!

There is a good place in Melksham, but I can't remember the name of it! A friend of mine in Chippenham swears by them. I think it's just called Audi/VW Centre or similar.

Theres a good place on Bradford on Avon called Audi VW, they are good and replaced my Cambelt on an Audi A4 1.9tdi for around £200 incl parts. their details are Treenwood Industrial Estate, Bradford-on-Avon, BA1501225 864966
