Has anyone here driven both an 2.0TFSI Quattro and an S3? I'm thinking of changing my current 2.0TFSI Quattro for another and figured the price difference of a new Quattro plus few options and an S3 (which has higher spec) isn't so great.*

    So, is the S3 that much better than a A3 2.0T Q?

*I'm lucky enough to be able to have either as a company car so Insurance and serviceing costs are not a big issue for me.

Driven both I had a A3 2.0T quattro Sline Sportback and S3 3dr and Sportback the extra horsepower is very noticeable.

If I had the choice I would go for the S3 - The only problem can be the ride is very hard.

I would test drive an S3 and I think you will agree. MPG was 32 average on my long journeys. 14 around MK hammering it

Thanks. I'm also in MK, around MK I get about 18-20mpg. On the motorway I never better 33mpg, usally its well below 30mpg. The long term trip says I'm averaging 25-26mpg!
