    Hi Folk's,

I've managed to aquire a wiper stalk for my '04 A4 TDI 130 Sport Avant with the DIS buttons. However, I only have the shareware version of VAG COM.

My question is, if I fit the DIS stalk will it operate as a normal wiper stalk until I am able to get the car re-coded with a full version of VAG COM?

    Thanks for any info.

    Cheers

Oh, I was under the impression that all the steering control units could do DIS, but not necessarily cruise.

    Cheers.

    Hi,
I've just retrofited myself Cruise Control and DIS Stalk.
My car had factory installed these modules:
    - Steering Wheel: 8E0 953 549 N
    - Instruments: 8E0 920 900 K
    - Central Electronics: 8E0 907 279 C
    I used the following parts:
    - Switch for wipers/DIS: 4E0 953 503 F 4PK (79,03 euro)
    - Switch for Cruise Control: 4E0 953 521 B (28,96 euro)
    - Trim lower part for Cruise Control: 8E0 953 512 P 6PS (30,68 euro) (black)
    - Screws (x2) for CC stalk: N 909 068 02 (0,24 euro)
I made the coding with Vag COM and the Cruise Control working...
After made coding for the DIS I have the following information (see attatchment photos) on the display (when I press the reset button). Is it normal?

I also bought the following parts to retrofit the water sensor (all these costs 26,82 euro):
    - Water Level Sensor: 7M0 919 376
    - Flat Contact: 1J0 973 202
    - o-Ring: 7M0 919 382
    - Repair Cable for Flat Contact (x2): 000 979 133A
    - Repair Cable for Instruments T32/1: 000 979 009A
So, I need some help about the correct location of the pins.
I know that I must connect T32 blue connector of intruments cluster pin 1 to water sensor.
    But how?
According ELSAWIN (see attatchment photo) the connection is: T32/1 -> T17/9 -> Water sensor and Water Sensor -> T17/10. Is this OK? I must connect two wires from water sensor to T17 and one wire to T32/1?
