    Default High Oil Pressure – 04-06-2009,05:51 PM
    I'm concerned that my S4 oil pressure is to high. At 1,000 rpm it is reading about 50psi but at 4,000 rpm it reaches 90psi. Is this normal? If not could anyone have any idea what could cause this?

    At higher engine speed the oil pressure must not exceed 7.0 bar. If necessary renew oil pump cover with pressure relief valve.

    7 bar being just over 100PSI, this suggests you don't need to worry if you are at 90.
